The care we put in place for our clients keeps the patient at the centre of everything we do – building complete support, fitted to their needs, and that can grow with them as they change and develop. We work with adults of all ages, from people in their late teens, right through to others much later in life.

We know that having a family member with specialist needs can have a dramatic impact on the entire family. That’s why we work with the families we help to provide a service that is family-focused, enabling our older clients to enjoy a high-quality life lived at home where they belong and to participate fully in ordinary family life as much as possible

We’re flexible in our approach, offering support built around the family routine; that includes flexing our help, and even accompanying our clients on holiday when required.

Our people

All of our personal care assistants undergo comprehensive, industry-leading training as part of their induction to Optimam Complex Care, reinforced by client and adult-specific, nurse-led training in the home, so you can be sure that your family member is receiving the best possible care.

In particular, our adult team is skilled in areas such as:

• ventilation and airway management
• gastrostomy management
• nasogastric feeding
• medication management
• epilepsy awareness
  

And because we know that welcoming someone new into your home is a daunting situation, we make sure to introduce all team members to you before they begin working in your home.
